Chris Floyd, author of the blog and the book, Empire Burlesque, discusses some antiwar activists misplaced admiration for Adm. Fallon, his characterization of the Iranian people as “ants” to be “crushed,” the de-facto replacement of U.S. ambassadors by admirals and generals, the shallowness of the American media, the obvious and yet somehow unpopular fact that foreigners are people, the ongoing American atrocity in Somalia and the Democrats’ bankrupt “liberal interventionism.”
